Roasted Red Pepper & Cheese Roll-up

*This is a sponsored post, I was hired by The Women Bloggers to participate in this campaign led by Kendal King Group on behalf of Bush Brothers. All opinions are my own.

One of our favorite lunches is Roll-ups not those fruity things your kids love but actual food roll-ups. This has become a favorite in our home and one that is asked for often by my picky eaters and it has hummus in it. (shhh, that’s a secret).

Hummus Made Easy

Roll-ups are easy to make and you can add anything you like to them. Another one of our favorites is the Pepperoni Pizza Roll-up You really can make any kind you want with any ingredients. I was making this 3-step Roasted Red Pepper Hummus from Bush’s Hummus Made Easy and thought, it’s almost lunch time what are the kids going to have? & we decided on roll-ups, but the kids thought just cheese roll-ups, I explained with a twist. Like I said I have picky eaters, and I think that is an understatement but there is not a word for how picky the kids really are. Continue reading

Prim Goods – Believe in Second Chances, Restore Hope, and Inspire for the Future

*I am very thankful to work with this amazing group, this is a sponsored post from Primrose Hill and  their line of Prim Goods Products. All opinions are my own.

As a mother we all think we are superwoman and can carry all the weight of the world (at least our world) on our shoulders and anything else life decides to throw at us, and we can but there are many times that all that weight will make us feel overwhelmed and like we’re crashing and burning.  Sometimes people  turn to things that will help us not feel overwhelmed and numb to the “problems” we are facing ,  and then we are heading down an even more destructive path that could grab a hold of us and never  let go, we will end up Jail, or even dead. Primrose Hill is a saving grace for so many women who are and have been battling addiction and for  their children who have  had to endure living  with an addict.

Frozen Yogurt Bites

I LOVE Yogurt, it’s one of those foods that I could eat everyday and never get tired of it. With the weather getting hotter and hotter and  I will be looking for a cool treat everyday to enjoy. However let’s be honest, ice cream will make me happy but my body won’t like it as much. I have found a healthier option, Frozen Yogurt Bites with Annie’s Whole Milk Organic Yogurt and let me tell you, it’s just as good if not better and easier to snack on.

Southern Snapshots

Monthly Memories was posted yesterday so you had to know Southern Snapshots wasn’t far behind. I love taking beautiful photos and while I don’t get to as much as I would like, sometimes I happen to be in the right place at the right time to catch some of the beautiful shots I have taken! These 5 beautiful photos were taking in Lillian, Alabama on Perdido Bay and it sure was a beautiful weekend, this particular weekend in April. We even decided to head down onto the beach and did a little camping. It was amazing, even though we were woke up by armadillos but got to enjoy a beautiful sunrise! Hope you all are having a great week so far!

Berry Crisp Crumble

*This post is in no way affiliated with Calhoun Bend Mill, I just used their products for my baking and wanted to share because it was delicious. All opinions are my own.

Berry Crumble, we always called these crisps (like apple crisp), we were apparently wrong. 🙂

Berry Crumble Crisp

One of the larger grocery stores near us is doing some re-branding. To create some space for their new product lines, they have stopped selling a number of other items. They have all of these discontinued items in a special section at the front of the store at a reduced cost (50% to 70% off). It’s like a rummage sale for groceries. I like it. haha. In my rummaging I came across this blueberry crumble mix from Calhoun Bend Mill for next to nothing. The hubs loves blueberry flavored things so I thought I’d try it. Continue reading
